Did Emily Ratajkowski land the coveted cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue?

Emily Ratajkowski is said to be the favourite for this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover.
The model caught people's attention with her curves when she appeared topless in the uncensored version of Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines video in 2013.
Since then she's moved into acting, playing the girlfriend of Ben Affleck in Gone Girl.

And now she could be about to land a huge gig, with insiders claiming she's a favourite for this year's cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
“Emily is the biggest buzz overall right now,” a source told New York Daily News' Confidenti@l.
But it looks like the 23-year-old has some competition in the form of 19-year-old model-of-the-moment Gigi Hadid and Hannah Davis, 24.
"Gigi seems to be the ‘It’ girl of the moment and Hannah had a big last couple of years,” the source added.

All three beauties have appeared in Sports Illustrated issues in the past. According to the insider, the company has been "grooming" the girls and making sure to promote them all over through bookings, events and shoots over the past year.
Gigi has made her mark on the fashion industry over the past few months, landing big jobs as the face of Maybelline and Guess' latest campaign girl and winning Model of the Year at The Daily Front Row's fashion awards earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Hannah has modelled for the likes of Victoria's Secret, Tommy Hilfiger and Levi's. She also appeared on the inset of 2013's Swimsuit issue, which was covered by Kate Upton for the second year running.

The front of the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue always causes a huge stir. Last year Chrissy Teigen, Nina Agdal and Lily Aldridge shared the honour, with 22-year-old Kate on the flipside cover.
