'Claire Foy's dress gives me strong Josie Grossie vibes' - Why The Crown star's Golden Globes gown looks familiar
And the winner of the most talked about dress is...Claire Foy.
The Crown star may have walked away with one of the biggest awards of the night (Best Actress in a TV Drama Series) for her turn as Queen Elizabeth in the early days of her reign, but her dress has been declared un-regal by the internet's fashion police.
A pale pink Erdem sequin dress should be the stuff of couture dreams, but rather than nabbing an iconic look for her first win, fans were quick to point out a striking resemblance between her and Drew Barrymore's Josie Grossie in the criminally underrated Never Been Kissed from 1999.
We can't say we disagree...
Claire Foy is so beautiful but it looks a little like she bought this dress from a facebook ad for one of those scam Chinese companies pic.twitter.com/pMVFT0OHh9— Dana Schwartz (@DanaSchwartzzz) January 9, 2017
