If you're not willing to commit four hours of precious sleep to catch the Academy Awards live, then cheat on social media.

For front row seats to red carpet arrivals, live announcements of winners and behind-the-scenes antics, then look no further than these 10.

1. Independent Style/Independent Entertainment

We'd have to start off with our own, because tonight we'll be wrapping awards season with live coverage of red carpet hits and misses from Style and live winners from Ents. All the scoop, as it happens.

2. The Academy

The official feed from The Academy Awards. They've been sharing behind the scenes updates in advance and they're the go-to source for breaking Oscars news.

3. Chrissy Teigen

Style's resident girl crush will be returning to the Oscars again this year with her husband John Legend, who's a shoo-in for Best Song. We're already super fans of her social media style, but her hilarious insight into the Grammys and Golden Globes earned her a place at the top of our list.

4. Joanna Coles

Cosmopolitan Editor-in-Chief ditched Fashion Week for the red carpet and has been keeping us up to date as she prepares for tonight's Academy Awards. Expect an all-access-pass with self deprecating humour.

5. Reese Witherspoon

She's nominated for Best Actress in Wild tonight and her Twitter style leaves no indication that she's a bonafide superstar, if not for the fact that she hits red carpets like we tackle jars of Nutella.

6. Amy Poehler Smart Girls

Smart Girls spearheaded the #AskHerMore campaign, fighting for smarter questions for female actresses, thanks to comedienne Amy Poehler. Visit here for more than just who they're wearing.

7. Sarah Bolger

This 23-year-old Irish actress is attending her first official Oscars bash since the early noughties, so expect some serious enthusiasm. Her rising star and latest high profile gigs earned her an invite to Elton John's Academy Awards viewing party. But we'll be disappointed if we don't get at least one Kardashian or Miley Cyrus selfie.

8. Neil Patrick Harris

He's taking over from Ellen DeGeneres as this year's host and we'll be glued to his feed for access only the main man could have. We're sure he has plans to break the internet a second time after that Oscars selfie last year. The fact that he's already one of the funniest folks on Twitter is a major bonus.

9. Rachel Zoe

Super stylist Rachel will responsible for Jennifer Lawrence and Jennifer Garner's looks tonight. For the prettiest of pictures and insight into head-to-toe style from the world's biggest stars, look no further.

10. Ellen DeGeneres

It's hard to believe that Ellen (or anyone) will ever be able to top the world's most famous selfie, if anyone can, it's Hollywood's most respected funnywoman. Now that she's off duty tonight, we've raised the bar for her hilarious antics.
