Style Dilemma

SEEKING A SOLUTION FOR MY RIPPED-UP LEATHER LOAFERS

I recently had a little bike accident that resulted in me ripping my favourite leather loafers. I've had them for nearly three years, so now I'm in need of a replacement pair. Can you give me some advice?

Tommy Hilfiger has launched a limited edition footwear collaboration with American designer George Esquivel which includes a two-tone navy/brown loafer.

Each pair is handcrafted in leather and features some quirky details including bright outsoles, prominent stitching and antiqued leather washing (1 €399 tommy.com).

The vogue for contrasting coloured soles has not been lost on traditional shoemaker Loake. Their brown, fringed front loafers with tassel have a chunky white grip tread sole for a look that's very of the moment (2 €196).

For a relatively young footwear label, Mr Hare has rapidly built a reputation for his dashing and daring designs. The 'Che' leather loafer (3 €360, mrporter.com) embodies his unique aesthetic. The contrasting white heel will eventually fade to a silver metallic hue with wear.

At Zara you'll find a light brown pair at a wallet-friendly price of €59.95 (4).
