Strutting season begins for our rising stars of catwalktlin

AS New York Fashion Week (NYFW) winds down, three Irish teenagers are just getting started.

This week they finished their runway reports in New York and are now preparing to make their way to London and Paris to show off the new season style.

Laura O'Grady (19), from Castleknock, Dublin; Aine O'Gorman (18), from Tipperary; and Tabea Weyrauch (19), from Foyleside, Derry, are all working the runway at NYFW, with plans to tackle London and Paris next to show off the new season's styles.

Having just finished her Leaving Cert in June, Laura (above right), who is signed with Absolute the Agency in Dublin and Select Model Management in London, is striking while the iron is hot, and planning on walking at London Fashion Week next week. She made her runway debut there in February.

Meanwhile, rising catwalk star Aine O'Gorman (above left), who was scouted at Oxegen 2011, is something of a Fashion Week veteran despite her tender years, having walked for countless couturiers at London, Paris and now New York.

Also representing Ireland on the international style scene is Tabea Weyrauch (left), who won the 2010 RTE series 'The Model Scouts' and has walked for Band of Outsiders, Thom Browne and Mara Hoffman in the last three days. She is signed by Elite, who launched Cindy Crawford.
