Streets ahead in style stakes at Kilkenny flagship store
It was the first Irish store chain to recognise the Orla Kiely magic and to sell her handbags in Ireland, and the Kilkenny store was marking its success in the style stakes with a day-long celebration in the flagship Nassau Street store in Dublin last Wednesday.
First it launched the new AW 2013 collections with fashion buyer Catherine Connolly hosting a cute tea party.
Later the Kilkenny CEO, Marian O'Gorman hosted a Girls Night Out event in association with the Dublin Fashion Festival which kicked off the next day.
Dublin Rose Claire Lennon was spotted chatting with Kilkenny marketing manager Greg O'Gorman, stylist Roxanne Parker and artist Jim Fitzpatrick.
The fun night at the Kilkenny flagship store included a fashion show by Galway's Cat Walk Model Agency.
One of the big hits of the night were designs by Jennifer Rothwell whose 'Hummingbird' dresses are exclusive to the Kilkenny shop in Dublin.
Instead of running for the bus, the fashion girlies jumped on the Samsung Beauty Bus parked outside for free hair styling, make-up and HD brows.
They will all need a foot massage next week, as the DFF party schedule is jammers.
