Watch out, boys, Taylor's single again! The country singer had been reportedly dating a tech billionaire since Christmas, but she's now back on the scene. So expect another song of love and loss and revenge to hit the airwaves very soon.

While she may have somewhat dubious taste in men (seriously, Taylor, why would you expect a deep and meaningful relationship with someone nicknamed Mayer the Player, and as for Harry Styles, words almost fail us), we're happy to report that the pop tart looks really quite amazing in this fabulous J Mendel monochrome two-piece with its cropped top and sexy thigh-high split. We think she may be sending a not so coded message to her ex – just look what you're missing – but really we think she should take a break from the boys for a while. The single look suits her so much better.

January Jones - Miss

We've seen the paparazzi shots, we thought we knew just what to expect from January Jones and we were ... right. Well, of course we were!! We knew that the very ungrateful Ms Jones spends a huge amount of time and effort to disassociate herself from alter ego Betty Draper. She seems happy to parade around off-set with bed-head hair and vest tops that have seen better days. Oh it'd make you cry to think of all the hard work that goes into creating the Mad Men character renowned for her fabulous style. If only we had access to her wardrobe (and to the lovely Mr Draper). Anyway we were all too aware that, left to her own devices, our calendar girl would end up being a serious contender on this year's worst dress lists. Funnily enough, we don't hate her Roksanda Ilincic dress this time (although it manages the remarkable feat of making her fantastic figure seem almost, well, dumpy). But her choice of eye make-up is a desperate attempt to appear quirky while that dishevelled plait is just a mess. We can only imagine what Betty would think.

My Style: Rebecca Marden (25), fashion designer

Travel is hugely inspirational for me, I love experiencing changing landscapes and cities full of colourful personalities.

The Irish climate can be a demanding factor when it comes to style so I happily morph from sedate to statement. Here I'm wearing a rubber T and brass pleated neckpiece, both from my own label.

I'm an admirer of designers such as Mary Katrantzou who have a strong print focus. 'Twistedlamb' and 'But does it Float' are two of my favourite blogs. I also love keeping up with contemporary fashion photography through C-Heads magazine.

I love fashion's ability to change moods, transform appearances and inspire others.

For me there's very little to hate, bar my sisters editing down my wardrobe!
