Rita Ora is Madonna's new Material Girl
Singer Rita Ora has signed a £500,000 deal to be the face of Madonna and her daughter Lourdes' brand, Material Girl.
16-year-old Lourdes (aka Lola), who allegedly controls much of the creative direction of the teenage-focused brand, instigated the meeting between Ora and Madonna as she is a big fan, having been to many of her gigs.
"They met at the Met Ball in New York last week and Madonna admired Ora's attitude so signed the idea off," a source told The Sun.
"Rita jumped at the chance because she's such a fan of the Queen Of Pop."

After making it in the UK, the source said Rita is hoping the campaign will help her crack the US in the same way.
This is not the first time Ora, who was signed to Jay-Z's label Roc Nation when she was a teenager, has made the not-so-surprising transition from music to modelling. Signed to Next Models, Ora has recently replaced Alexa Chung as the face of Superga and graced the covers of Elle UK, Hunger and Glamour.
As well as Jagger, Kelly Osbourne and Taylor Momsen have previously represented Material Girl.
The 80s-inspired brand was launched in 2010 and although currently sold only in Macy's stores in the US and Canada, it is due to arrive in England in June.
