Red Carpet Wrap: Best and worst dressed
Who is a style queen and who should be taken away by the fashion police this week?
Worst dressed: Rachel Zoe
We have to admit that we're surprised. We wouldn't have thought that stylist-to-the stars Rachel Zoe would have had such a good sense of humour.
After all, she's made a fortune from capturing a host of A-listers in her twig-like clutches and managing to convince them that a diet of fresh air, a pair of bug-eyed sunglasses and an oversized clutch was all you needed to look fabulous.
So we definitely didn't expect her to send up her own image by reinventing the myth of Little Bo Peep -- the shepherdess who lost her sheep but gained a classic Chanel bag. Now that's a real Hollywood happily ever after!
Rachel has accessorised her floaty, full-length tiered sundress with lots and lots of jewellery, a hat and, of course, those all-important sunnies.
Little Bo Peep never looked so, well, bling. But then good taste and fancy dress don't exactly hang out at the same parties.
Admittedly Halloween isn't for another week or so, but then you would expect the 40-year-old to be ahead of the fash pack.
At least we hope that she's dressing up ...
Best dressed: Nicole Richie
Nicole Richie has one person to thank for her red-hot reputation on the red carpet and that's Rachel Zoe. Hmm, that may just be this week's definition of irony ...
The Simple Life star was the perfect model for Zoe's signature look of skinny, skinny body all wrapped up in designer duds with a few choice accessories. But the former BFFs fell out badly when, in possibly a hunger-inspired rage, the stick-thin Richie referred to Rachel as 'raisin face' and the pair reportedly traded barbs over asparagus.
The style world was shocked -- surely its tall and thin shape guarantees that this is the one vegetable which will never fall foul of fashion fads?
But thankfully Nicole and Rachel have since reconciled -- treating yourself to chocolate really does make everything better -- and all is rosy in Richie's world.
Perhaps that's what led her to refresh her look with some much-needed colour.
Her lemon chiffon dress is simply gorgeous, and she's teamed it with a studded clutch (from her own House of Harlow design label, natch) and smoky eyes which add just enough edginess to offset the ultra-girlie look.
We're loving it.
