Who is a style queen and who should be taken away by the fashion police this week?

Best dressed: Kara Tointon

Wow, now here's a woman who knows just what she wants.

She was reported to have dumped her Busted boyfriend as soon as the boyband split (although that was denied) and then went to make the most of work by dating her EastEnders co-star.

After that, not only did she stun audiences with her winning appearance on Strictly Come Dancing, she took a lasting memento from the show.

No, don't be silly, we're not talking about her new man, dancing partner Artem Chigvintsev. Men come, men go, y'know.

We, of course, are referring to her dramatic style.

The scarlet woman looks amazing in this floor-sweeping Ermanno Scervino dress. It seems that you can take the soap star out of her opera ...

Worst dressed: Kate Winslet

Okay, confession time, we admit we didn't recognise Kate at first.

When the spots eventually stopped dancing in front of our eyes, and we managed to look beyond the washed-out make-up, severe updo and baaad shoes, we were, well, quite shocked, actually.

Now, we're all for breaking out of sartorial comfort zones, and the Titanic actress did just split up with husband Sam Mendes a year ago, so it's only natural for her to still be experimenting with her look. But ... not like this!!

Now, Kate, you may claim to be Little Miss Ordinary (as if anyone is fooled!) but you surely can afford a stylist?

This figure-hugging directional number from Stella McCartney's Fall 2011 collection simply isn't right for you.

If only you'd been brave enough to let loose on that unflattering hemline with a good pair of scissors ... It might have helped a bit , but definitely not enough.
