Red Carpet Wrap: Best and worst dressed
Who is a style queen and who should be taken away by the fashion police?
Best dressed: Julia Roberts
Now we admit that we were a bit surprised by this. We were sure that Julia Roberts would wear a full-length and suitably fabulous gown at the premiere of her latest movie.
After all, it's been quite a while since she flexed her super-star muscles in a big role. But we didn't reckon that the 42-year-old would take such a daring fashion risk and, wow, it certainly paid off.
She may have put on weight while filming Eat, Pray, Love. For one scene, she just had to devour eight slices of pizza -- poor pet, what these movie stars have to endure in the name of art. But there was no sign of a superfluous ounce in this sleek, chic and oh-so-sexy ensemble of Stella McCartney jacket, Diane von Furstenberg shorts and Roger Vivier sandals.
The all-black outfit could have been bland and boring but what makes it work are the varying textures, not to mention Julia's fabulous long legs ...
Worst dressed: Liz McClarnon
Liz, Liz, Liz, the saying is 'the cat got the cream', not ate it all!
While we were thrilled when the former Atomic Kitten won last year's Celebrity Masterchef -- even though she had never used an oven before appearing on the show -- we were very concerned that she might be taking her culinary adventure a bit too seriously ... It's all very well to be able to cook a three-course meal for eight people, but you don't have to eat it all yourself!
We were about to stage an intervention, until, on closer inspection, we realised that she was practising her camouflage techniques. She must be very worried about bumping into former bandmate and all-round car crash Kerry Katona.
Desperate times call for desperately unflattering measures, and we applaud Liz's determination. But she's got a lot of work to do still.
Although no-one in their right mind would pair that super clutch with that voluminous maxi dress, there's no disguising that once a pop tart, always a pop tart.
