Queen of Prints leads Irish designers at LFW
Orla Kiely led the charge of Irish designers at London Fashion Week (LFW) yesterday.
Dubbed the "Queen of Prints", Ms Kiely recreated a library to showcase her new collection for autumn/winter 2015. Her clothes have been worn by Kate Middleton and actress Kirsten Dunst, and her latest designs combined elegant tailoring and vibrant colour.
Later, Simone Rocha, JW Anderson, and newcomer Danielle Romeril showcased their latest collections. Simone is the daughter of legendary designer John Rocha and has become the darling of the critics since she first took part in LFW in 2010.
Veteran designer Paul Costelloe put on a bravura show on Friday that brought out the stars. Yasmin Le Bon and Millie Mackintosh were joined by Saturday's star Una Foden and former Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan, both wearing Paul Costelloe coats, at the packed show in the Waldorf Astoria.
