'Normal' women model for new fashion campaign
Street style photographers and the blogs and books they create have completely changed how we look at fashion but also how fashion looks. Campaigns are being inspired by what people are wearing on the street and in their real lives, rather than the other way.
LK Bennett has just launched their A/W campaign featuring four ‘normal’ women modelling the collection. Sure, they’re very attractive ‘normal’ women but I love that big brands on the high street are finally reacting to what their customers want.
It makes sense for a store like LK Bennett that is aimed at a slightly older audience to ditch the skinny, 15-year-old models and show their clothes on women that the customer can relate to.
More of this please!
