THERE will be a new host, a new line-up and a new venue for this year's 'VIP' Style Awards.

Organisers are looking to give the event, now in its 12th year, a new lease of life.

RTE broadcaster Brendan Courtney has been enlisted as the host, while the awards will take place in Dublin's new Marker Hotel, which is due to open its doors next week.

Kathryn Thomas, Maura Derrane, Claire Byrne and Amy Huberman are among those shortlisted for Most Stylish Woman.

'The Voice' coach Sharon Corr took home the prize in 2012 and the programme's presenter Kathyrn Thomas told the Irish Independent she's hoping it'll be another win for 'The Voice' this year.

"Last year I didn't make the nominations list but every other year I have, so I've always been the bridesmaid and never the bride. This could be the year," she said.

Other categories include Most Stylish Man and the Newcomer Award.

Look of the Year has replaced the Most Stylish Couple category, while the Peter Mark 'VIP' Style Icon Award 2013 will also be given out.

"We're doing a lot of new things, the venue is a building site at the moment, but we've been promised it's going to be ready," said Michael O'Doherty of 'VIP' magazine at the nominations announcement in Dublin.

The VIP Style Awards will take place on April 26.
