Naomi Campbell opts for bizarre feather ensemble at Glamour red carpet
Just one day after she dazzled at the CFDA Awards, Naomi Campbell opted for a bizarre feathered outfit that fell apart as she took her seat at last night’s Glamour Women of the Year Awards.
The model, who is as well known for her feisty personality as for her career, chose a red and black feathered and fringed Alexander McQueen cocktail dress with matching platform shoes and a chunky gold choker and cuff.
As the 44-year-old catwalk veteran took her seat, an onlooker reported that her outfit began to fall apart, prompting the feisty model to demand those around her for some sellotape.
Luckily, Radio One DJ Nick Grimshaw assisted his friend by attempting to fix the sartorial mess.
Naomi was honoured with the TV Personality of the Year Award for her modelling reality show The Face.
The Awards ceremony also honoured TV presenters Emma Willis, Fearne Cotton and Davina McCall.
Alexa Chung, Billie Piper, Sarah Hyland, Simone Rocha and Helen Mirren also brought home accolades.
High profile guests in attendance included Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Daisy Lowe, Henry Holland, Patrick Kielty, Cat Deeley and Dermot O’Leary.
