Model of the moment Cara Delevingne set to be new face of YSL make-up
Cara Delevingne is rumoured to be the new face of Yves Saint Laurent make-up.
The British model had a stellar year in 2012, being named Model of The Year at The British Fashion Awards and winning contracts with labels such as Chanel and DKNY.
She is a prolific user of Twitter and has been updating her followers about her trip to Paris this week. Yesterday, the model appeared to let slip what she has been up to.
"Just finished my last day shooting @YSL cosmetics! Feeling like a baby doll!" she wrote.
Jessica Chastain is currently the face of the company's fragrance Manifesto, with Cara seemingly the choice to promote the cosmetics line. The job has previously been taken up by Jourdan Dunn and Sophie Dahl.
Over the weekend, images of Cara posing with Rita Ora were posted online. The pair took part in a photoshoot with Rankin and the still is a close up of them facing each other, each puckering their lips and so close their noses are touching.
"No words. From one bad b***h to another. Thank you RANKIN....more comin hehehe (sic)," Rita captioned the image, in a message quickly re-tweeted by Cara.
Cara is signed to Storm modelling agency and its founder Sarah Doukas is good friends with her. Sarah has previously explained why the model is destined for such big things.
“When you have that kind of aura and charisma... that’s why brands and big editorials love working with her," she said.
