Millie Mackintosh reveals her favourite thing to do in Dublin is eat fried chicken

Former Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh is famous for her poise and elegance, but even she has an unsavoury habit - fried chicken.

The style icon, who is married to Professor Green, is in Dublin as part of her work as a style ambassador for the Dubai Duty Free Races kicking off in June.

She turned heads in a sheer, lace Peter Pilotto dress as she happily posed for photos at the plush Marker Hotel.

But while she might be staying at a five star hotel, wearing a dress with a four figure price tag, she's most excited about tasting the offerings at Crackbird restaurant.

"I love Ireland and I love coming here," she told Independent.ie. "My main things I love doing here are eating and shopping. Brown Thomas is absolutely amazing and Crackbird is [on a less glamorous side of the scale], but it's my favourite place to eat friend chicken!"

Mille also praised the personal style of her good pals Laura Whitmore and Angela Scanlon, both of whom are based in London.

"I think Irish women have great style, I'm good friends with Laura Whitmore and Angela Scanlon as well and they both look great.. Laura's like a little rock chick.

"Obviously in Ireland you don't have the best weather, so you Irish ladies are very good at layering!"
