Madonna becomes latest celeb to launch shoe collection
Move over Amy Huberman, there’s another celeb shoe designer in town.
Madonna's entire Truth or Dare footwear range look book has been revealed.
The songstress teased her fashion fans with just a couple of images from her upcoming shoe collection earlier this year. Now pictures of the whole line have been published, unveiling more than 30 different styles from the hotly-anticipated range.
The look book - published on Glamour.com - shows a number of edgy shoes, which include stud detailing, lacing and cut-out styles.
Boots, flat footwear and skyscraper heels are all present in the collection - manufactured by high street shoe chain Aldo.
The line's boots come in varying styles. While flat riding-styles are on offer, sexy lace-up black thigh-high boots, and black ankle boots are also available.
Metallic also features in the collection - with one pair of silver stilettos fitted with a skyscraper platform bottom while another strappy style boasts elaborate detailing at the front.
The Truth or Dare shoe collection will be stocked in store at Macy's and Nordstrom in the US, with prices ranging from $89 (€73)to $349 (€287).
Madonna worked on the line with long-time stylist and designer Arianne Phillips. The expert previously revealed Madonna's attitude to creating the collection.
“Her fingers are really on this brand. The first thing I did was remind her of all the shoes she wore over the years, and we took the styles that we can’t live without. You can always depend on her to bring her style and provocateur quality, but she also has a very feminine perspective,” she told WWD’s Footwear News.
Truth or Dare is part of Madonna‘s new lifestyle brand, which includes her debut fragrance, accessories, footwear, handbags and intimates.
