London Fashion Week braced for Irish invasion

Oh-er! Super stylish TV presenter Angela Scanlon is stripping off for her latest TV series. Well sort of.

The chatty redhead was in town this week appearing on comedy panel show Next Week's News and told us all about the new series while perusing some of the trendy shops on Drury Street.

"It's called Angela Scanlon's Naked Truth," she said. "It's a four-part series and I look at all sorts of things from freckles to fem-bots – it's all that sort of jazz." Indeed.

Last year, the former Irish dancing champ made a documentary about the trials and tribulations of being a redhead. "It'll be similar – but with less gingers."

It was a flying visit for Angela, who had to jet back to London in preparation for London Fashion Week, which kicked off yesterday.

She isn't the only Irish style guru about to head over for the mayhem of fashion week.

Danielle Romeril will join the likes of Simone Rocha, JW Anderson, Zoe Jordan and everyone's favorite quirky knitwear label Electronic Sheep. And, of course, Laura Whitmore will be sitting front row at every show that's worth being seen at.

"There's a rake load of us over there," Angela said. "We're taking over the place."

After that she's just got to pick out her dream wedding dress for her big day in June.

"Yep, still got the wedding to plan. The venue is sorted but no dress. So no pressure," she laughed.
