Kate Upton transforms into high fashion model for latest Vogue spread
Kate Upton has been transformed into a high fashion model for a Vogue spread.
The Sports Illustrated covergirl has covered the latest of issue of Vogue Brazil, and has achieved every young model's dream - becoming the personal darling of US editor Anna Wintour.
It seems Kate Upton can do no wrong in the fashion industry. After a relatively rocks start in modelling, she enjoyed commercial success, but faced several critics who couldn't understand her unique style.
But all that seems to be behind the supermodel as she has landed her fourth Vogue cover. Having already covered US, UK and Italian Vogue, she has also landed her first cover with the Brazilian edition of the magazine.
While she continues to impress fashion's most influential, even Victoria's Secret, who last year branded her "too obvious", and has the "kind of face that anyone with enough money can go out and buy", were forced to eat humble pie and used an old image of her in their catalogue.
Rather than forgiving and forgetting, the American model is instead focusing on her strengths, which include becoming Vogue's new covergirl darling. While posting a preview picture from the beautiful black and white photoshoot on Instagram, she described it as her "favourite job" so far.
The cover story is believed to be focusing on the fact that she doesn't have the 'traditional' shape of a model and has more feminine curves. While Kate is famous for her hotpants and bikini-filled wardrobe, she's more than capable of holding her own in the high fashion world.
While she continues to break barriers in the fashion industry, she's also making waves in Hollywood. The supermodel has landed a part in the movie, The Other Woman, alongside Cameron Diaz. And she's currently dating American basketball player, LA Clippers Blake Griffin after being briefly linked to P.Diddy.
