Ireland's most glam dazzle at VIP night of style
THEY promised one hell of a showbiz showdown and boy, did they deliver.
The red carpet at the swanky Marker Hotel was awash with sequins and sparkles as the great and good of the fashion world turned out in force for the Peter Mark VIP Style Awards.
Ireland's leading models, TV presenters and personalities including Rosanna Davison, Jack Reynor's fiancee Madeline Mulqueen and pop star Michelle Heaton were also at the bash to toast the men and women leading the way in the fashion stakes over the past year.
Rosanna was crowned Most Stylish Woman as she turned heads in a pink Dawn Fitzgerald gown.
"This is fantastic and means so much, but I have to thank Dawn for her wonderful dresses," Rosanna told the Herald. Conor McGregor was named Most Stylish Man, while Leanne Moore picked up the award for Most Stylish Newcomer and TV3 chat show queen Lucy Kennedy won the top prize of Look of the Year. Presenter Lottie Ryan of 2fm wowed in a gold Umit Kutluk ensemble. Michelle Heaton looked like a Grecian goddess in white and gold, while Karen Fitzpatrick, businesswoman Ramona Nicholas from Dragons Den and Ireland AM anchor Anna Daly also opted for the shade.
Xpose host Karen Koster dazzled in a graphic-print Bastyan number.
And her co-host Lisa Cannon showed off her newly honed muscles in a strapless Suzanne Neville gown.
Kathryn Thomas was another scarlet siren, in Umit Kutluk, and stepped out with her boyfriend Padraig McLoughlin.
But The Voice host said that it was mainly a girly event and so the other halves might feel out of place.
