Hollywood’s A-list men star in new Prada campaign
Actors Gary Oldman, Jamie Bell, Willem Dafoe and Garrett Hedlund are all starring in the new Prada autumn/winter 2012 adverts.
The four men look very intense in the pictures, which were taken by revered fashion photographer, David Sims.
The foursome have already appeared on the catwalk at the 2012 Prada menswear show.
Described as "stylish men off screen as well as on", the actors pose against a cardinal red background for their 'performance' in front of the camera.
Gary Oldman ( ‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy’) and Jamie Bell (‘Billy Elliot’) might represent a 28-year age gap, but were chosen by the luxury label because they are "influential icons of fashion" and "represent a cross-generational broadening of the face of Prada menswear."
They’re joined by 27-year-old ‘Tron: the Legacy’ star Garrett Hedlund and legendary actor Willem Dafoe, who is 56-years-old.
The dramatic images - created to evoke a different archetype by each leading man - also overspill for Prada's eyewear campaign.
The foursome succeed ‘The Dreamers’ actor Michael Pitt, who posed with a guitar for the current spring/summer 2012 adverts - who in turn took over from ‘Spiderman’ star Tobey Maguire.
