Hollywood descends on Paris for Haute Couture Week
A-list fashion worshippers have flown to the City of Light to sit front row at the most exclusive shows in the world.
When you have politicians, party girls, Bond girls and Bradley Cooper mixing in the same circle in one city, it can only mean one thing - Paris Haute Couture Week. Hollywood's A-list have descended on the fashion capital of the world for exclusive showings of the most famous international fashion houses.
Celebrated French fashion house Christian Dior sprung for a luxury jet-set tour of the globe at Paris fashion week on Monday, presenting a cross-continental look at haute couture with a collection inspired by the four corners of the world. Their show saw awards season golden girl Jennifer Lawrence sitting front row, alongside style icon Olivia Palermo, actress Leelee Sobieski and Gemma Arterton.
As for Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld invited some of the most influential movers and shakers in the industry, including a scantily clad Rihanna, Twilight's Kristen Stewart and Johnny Depp's ex Vanessa Paradis.
"It's the contrast between the old world and the new," Lagerfeld said after the show. "Fashion is the only thing that can travel between both."
Bulgari's Diva Collection event saw Bradley Cooper as the star attraction, while Armani Prive attracted Milla Jovovich and Naomie Harris, and earlier this week, Versace kicked off the festivities with Emma Roberts, Mena Suvari and Uma Thurman filling up their front row.
