Holly Valance chooses same designer as Vogue McFadden for dream wedding dress
Actress Holly Valance, who married property developer Nick Candy at the weekend, opted for the same Australian design house as Vogue McFadden for her wedding dress.
Both brides chose a design from J’Aton Couture, a favourite with Australia’s high society. 29-year-old Holly wore a dramatic dress with a full skirt, which resembled feathers and a bodice. She completed her look with a vintage style long lace veil and carried a dark red bouquet. Her 39-year-old new husband wore a Dolce & Gabbana suit at the ceremony which took place in Beverly Hills. Some 300 guests, including Simon Cowell, attended the wedding.
Vogue McFadden also chose J’Aton for her Italian wedding to Brian McFadden last month. She opted for quite a different style to Holly however and wore a simpler low-cut satin dress with no heat attire.
Before her wedding, Vogue had tweeted her excitement about finding the perfect dress. She wrote:
I’ve finally found my perfect dress! I was so unsure of what I wanted for my wedding dress, I only knew I wanted something really beautiful. I’m getting my dress designed by J’Aton, they are so incredible and make unreal dresses, I’ve worn some of their dresses before and they are just so edgy and flattering at the same time.”
She added: “I went into J’Aton a couple of months ago and I must have been the worst bride ever because I really didn’t have a clue what I wanted! Anthony and Jacob started sketching up different designs and I loved the first one they did. I went in for a fitting and then last week I got to try on the dress although it’s not finished yet, and fell in love with it, I can’t wait for everyone one to see!”
Bridal gowns from the design house start at €10,000 and range up to €25,000 in price.
