From Victoria's Secret to Wonderbra: Miranda Kerr knows her model niche
Miranda Kerr is the new face of Wonderbra.
The 30-year-old model is no stranger to wearing lingerie after her stint as a Victoria’s Secret Angel. Her enviable physique has now gained her the role for the renowned Wonderbra, whose push-up underwire brassieres have been popular since launching in the ‘90s.
Three images of Miranda in the brand’s underwear have been released so far. One shows her in a pink two-piece crossing her arms and wearing a gold chain around her neck, while another sees her wearing a more racy leopard-print set.
In her last shot the brunette beauty covers up in a black leather skirt and white blouse, but the buttons are undone to reveal a black Wonderbra underneath.
This is just one of several campaigns Miranda has landed recently, along with her modelling for high street retailer H&M and sportswear giant Reebok. She also took to the catwalk during Paris Fashion Week for Sonia Rykiel.
It was last year that Miranda chose to leave Victoria’s Secret. At the time she admitted she was ready for a “new phase” in her life, which involved hers and ex-husband Orlando Bloom’s son Flynn.
“I have felt this coming since my son was born and, after I became a mother, I realised I needed to prioritise my time,” she previously told to Australian newspaper the Sydney Morning Herald.
With her hectic schedule comes constantly jetting around the world. Miranda recently revealed her travel must-haves when packing.
“I always travel with an eye mask so I can block out light no matter where I am or what the time zone… earphones are essential and good meditation. I always bring a cashmere wrap scarf and comfortable clothes to change into on the aeroplane - sweatpants and a T-shirt and my scarf,” she listed.
