Sisters Eugenie and Beatrice put on stylish front in Vogue's September issue
Eugenie speaks out ahead of wedding to Jack Brooksbank
Britain's Princess Eugenie has expressed her pride at appearing alongside her sister Beatrice in a very stylish shoot for the September issue of fashion bible Vogue.
Ahead of her wedding to fiancé Jack Brooksbank, the royal and her sister have spoken out in British Vogue about their close bond and how they have coped with living under the watchful eye of the public.
"We are the first: we are young women trying to build careers and have personal lives, and we’re also princesses and doing all of this in the public eye,” elder sister Beatrice said of it being the 'right time' to share the royals' experiences first hand.
A mere months after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot in the same church, Eugenie will walk down the aisle to exchange vows with fiancé Jack Brooksbank at St George's Chapel, Windsor in October.
The wedding, she says, will be a 'plastic free' event.
Taking to her personal Instagram page, Eugenie shared a photo from the stylish shoot featuring the pair posing on a park bench and looking perfectly dressed for the autumn months.
"I’m very proud to be in the September issue of Vogue alongside my beautiful big sister talking about our bond, who we are and what we stand for," she captioned the picture in which she sports a sultry bright red lip and chic, belted black coat.
The interview marks a first for the young royals speaking candidly to a publication such as Vogue, with Beatrice explaining how she would find said interview difficult to navigate.
"It’s hard to navigate situations like these because there is no precedent, there is no protocol."
