Sarah Jessica Parker is now designing bridal shoes, the world weeps with joy
Let the Sex and the City flashbacks commence.
Style icon Sarah Jessica Parker has set the wedding industry alight with news that she is launching a brand new bridal shoe collection.
She stole our sartorial hearts as Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City and we lusted after her onscreen wedding ensembles, so it's only fitting that SJP would create a new collection for brides to be.
The shoes will be available this month at Bloomingale's, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus in the US (fret not they're available for delivery in Ireland).
The 50-year-old actress, who famously wed actor Matthew Broderick in a black gown in 1997, covers Martha Stewart Weddings and dishes on her own big day.
"If I were getting married today, I'd likely wear cream, just to have that bridal experience," she told the magazine.
"Now I would want my dress to have an Oscar de la Renta feel, pockets below the waist, a very fitted bodice, a huge skirt, in taffeta or duchesse satin. That silhouette appeals to me because it's old-fashioned yet can look very modern."
