Irish actress Saoirse Ronan is among the Hollywood elite named as this year's best dressed by British Vogue.

The 24-year-old's red carpet style is the subject of endless column inches and analysis in style bibles the world over, as is the impact her stylist Elizabeth Saltzman has on the industry, but 2018 has truly been one of her most remarkable years. In addition to a Golden Globe win and her third Oscar nomination, Ronan dominated awards season once again, debuting dazzling look after look as the weeks went on and Vogue noticed.

"Behold: a woman with a red-carpet track record that’s as faultless as her IMDb file," the profile reads. "Sheath silhouettes and futuristic shoes were her failsafe formula for awards season earlier this year, but she’s not afraid to experiment. A luscious appearance in Mary Queen of Scots, as the titular Queen, has prompted some risk-taking courtesy of Gucci and Carolina Herrera – and she has always come out on top."

She appears alongside Zendaya, Meghan Markle and Tracee Ellis Ross among others.

Saltzman and Ronan's working relationship began working in 2015 after as a favour and Saoirse's Old Hollywood taste coupled with the London-based stylist's approach makes for the perfect red carpet fashion marriage.

"She’s the oldest, most wonderful soul that I’ve been fortunate enough to meet. I met her at 21 and she was far older than I was at 50 and wiser, smarter, and cooler," Saltzman told W magazine last year. "What wasn’t happening is that her personal style hadn’t developed. Now at 23, she has the confidence to try things. Her body has changed. Her attitude has changed. She’s all grown up."

Just imagine what 2019 will bring.
