Rosie Connolly 'steps back' from sunglasses range Aluxe one year after launching
Irish influencer Rosie Connolly has admitted she's "stepped away" from her sunglasses range Aluxe.
The popular beauty blogger (28) said she had been avoiding the question about her range in recent weeks, but wanted to address her followers after a specific account posed the question.
"I was asked a question by a page that is kind of set up to call out bloggers and I blocked the page because I didn't know it was following me and I don't agree with how things are handled on that page. Anyway, separately to that, people are wondering about the brand and where it is," she said on Instagram.
"I've made the decision to step away from Aluxe. Right now I can't get into any more detail. It is still going and it is being managed separately to myself."
Rosie didn't delve into the reasons why she decided to step aside, but did share that the products are still available under different management.
"I have stepped away from the brand, the brand is still available. I do hope that answers some questinos. I haven't answered it before because I didn't really want to get into it online, but I understand people's questions. I made a personal choice to step away from the brand," she added.
Her accessories range launched in 2017 to much fanfare and she was among a small pocket of social media stars branching out into product launches to diversify their incomes beyond sponsored posts.
