Need to know: The up-and-coming Irish designers showcasing during London Fashion Week

Freya Drohan

The 'In the Fold' exhibition is set to show the work of emerging Irish designers to an international audience during LFW.

‘In the Fold’ will be featured in the prestigious International Fashion Showcase 2015 at London Fashion Week which takes place later this month from the 20th to the 24th February.

The exhibition is presented by Irish Design 2015 (ID2015) and luxury outlet destination Kildare Village. ID2015 is a year-long initiative backed by the Irish government exploring, promoting and celebrating Irish design throughout Ireland and internationally.

In The Fold is an immersive and experiential installation brought to the masses by Irish-born curator Gemma A. Williams. It aims to give emerging design talent an invaluable profile boost by presenting them to an international audience during one of the most important weeks of the fashion calendar.

The following eight designers will show their creations, which relate directly to In The Fold’s two key themes - sustainability and a sense of place.
