Peter O'Brien for Arnotts collection

While most eyes were on London Fashion Week yesterday Peter O'Brien unveiled his modern interpretation of winter classics.

Peter, who formerly worked with the House of Rochas in Paris, showcased his fifth capsule collection for Arnotts.

The 38 piece collection is part of the Love Irish Design initiative at the Henry Street department store.

O'Brien makes a point of featuring sleeves and pockets in his dresses surprised us by using lots of bright orange alongside camel, grey, navy and black.

There are nine coats in his new collection including a strong military style in navy, camel or grey.

Peter offers wardrobe solutions for work and skirt shapes run from secretary pencil, to A-line

and girly, full circle skirts.

His knits this year include a fitted, short sleeve fine gauge top with a bow tie. Prices start at €155 and run to €495.

In contrast to his four previous collections for Arnotts, there are no white shirts this time around.
