Meet the other Hadids - Alana and Marielle are Gigi and Bella's stylish big sisters
Gigi and Bella Hadid might be two of the world's most famous models, but their two sisters are living equally fashionable lives off camera.
Since exploding on to the scene in 2013, Gigi has featured in Sports Illustrated, walked for Victoria's Secret and landed campaigns with Maybelline, Tom Ford and Versace. Bella was recently unveiled as the new face of Dior makeup, walked for Moschino and Tommy Hilfiger and landed nearly a dozen magazine covers in the last 12 months.
What we're saying is - theses girls are so hot right now.
But they're not the only females in the family making it big (their brother Anwar also recently signed to their agency IMG) their older half sisters Alana and Marielle are big names in their respective careers.
Their father Mohamed had the eldest siblings before his marriage to Bella and Gigi's mother Yolanda Foster.
Alana is a personal shopper and stylist and recently launched her debut capsule clothing collection and famously close with her younger sisters as evidenced on their Instagram accounts.
"I think my whole family just loves fashion because there is so much to play with in that world. There are really no boundaries here, and we are drawn to that idea," she told Bravo's The Daily Dish.
"I think that we are creatives and, all in our own ways, fashion has just allowed us to be ourselves, which is so fulfilling. To do what you love and get paid for it is such a great experience."
The girls grew up with a passion for fashion, encouraged by their parents - Mohamed is a property developer worth an estimated $200m, Yolanda is a former model and Alana's mother Mary Butler is pretty low-key.
"I definitely loan things to my sisters. Gigi wore one of my custom-made lace gowns to her high school prom, and Bella and I wear each other’s clothes a lot on vacation," she explained.
"They have definitely asked me for fashion advice. Right when Gigi was starting to model, we did a huge shopping excursion. I found her this insane Stella McCartney cape, and when she put it on, I thought, okay I’m borrowing that. I still haven’t gotten my hands on it though – I need to call her about that!"
Meanwhile, Marielle has adopted a career out of the limelight and has only been pictured at select events supporting her family. She's inherited the family's penchant for social media prowess though as she boasts an impressive 73,000 Instagram followers, thank in part, to her famous last name.
