For this morning’s hotly anticipated show, Kaiser Karl presented his collection at a makeshift French brasserie, with fashion’s darlings Cara Delevingne and Kendall sitting giggling at the bar.
As the show began and high profile members of the audience rushed to take their seats in the Grand Palais, the models of the moment chatted as they pretended to order drinks from male model and muse, Baptiste Giabiconi.
According to reports, the duo took to the catwalk as a pair in fits of giggles, as they had the honour of both opening and closing the show together. Fittingly, they both looked like modern day Audrey Hepburns in their sophisticated black outfits, as they enjoyed 'Breakfast at Chanel'.
Both Poppy Delevingne and Kris Jenner sat front row to cheer on their family members, alongside Anna Wintour, Mario Testino and Florence Welch.
While his last show was rife with political statements, this time around, Karl Lagerfeld left the clothes do the talking.
Looks presented were typical of the French house: monochrome suiting, pearl encrusted knitwear, peter pan collars, two tone pumps, and plenty of tweed tailoring.
For the duration of the showcase, models including Joan Smalls entered ‘Brasserie Gabrielle’ through revolving doors, searching the bistro for familiar faces and giving waiters their orders as they Snapchatted their surroundings.
Paris Fashion Week continues today with Valentino, Paul & Joe and Alexander McQueen.
