Irish plus-size model Louise O'Reilly lands biggest campaign to date - as the new face of Evans

Irish model Louise O'Reilly is officially unstoppable.

The 28-year-old from Malahide, Dublin, has been blazing trails since she first burst onto the scene in 2011 and has emerged victorious as our most successfully body confidence advocates.

O'Reilly has been vocal about her experiences at being body shamed when she was younger and felt uncomfortable in her size 22 frame. Now a size 16, she is arguably the busiest plus-size model in Ireland and making serious waves in the UK.

Her latest coup? Landing a campaign for Evans, the high street giant with 180 stores around the UK and Ireland.

"For as long as I can remember I've always had such a huge amount of respect for Evans as a plus size brand," she shared. "So this year when I was asked to model two full campaigns for them as well as being a guest judge for their Cut Collection I was beyond ecstatic! Shot by one of my favourite photographers Jon Gorrigan too."

The Spring/Summer '17 collection marks the third year of Evans featuring adaptations of designs by graduate designers, to "fit and flatter the plus size figure while retaining inspiration and reference direct from the catwalk."

O'Reilly, who has featured in Cosmpolitan and on Vogue Italia's website, said she is proud to be representing Irish women abroad.

"I’m really so proud to be representing the plus-size community and when you take it as a whole umbrella, it represents so many different things and represents women who for so many years were marginalised in society," she said last year.

"It would be lovely to see a brand on the high street, any of the ones that go from an eight, to say a 22; it would be lovely to see them go for diversity, whether that's age or ethnicity or size in their main campaign - not just a once-off or for a special line."
