Up and coming designer Richard Malone is hot on the heels of Simone Rocha as he is picked for
Fashion East is the non-profit organisation started by Lulu Kennedy in 2000 in a bid to nurture and promote new design talent.
Now in its fifteenth year, it has once again selected emerging names in the industry.
Caitlin Price, Richard Malone and This Is The Uniform have been plucked to take part in the platform this September, which is sponsored by Topshop.
Malone is the latest Irish designer to be given the nod by the initiative, following in the footsteps of Simone Rocha and J.W Anderson.
"All three designers are strong-minded. I'm delighted to be working with them," Lulu told Vogue.com
Wexford native Malone graduated from the prestigious Central Saint Martins BA in Fashion programme in 2014
The 25-year-old's status as 'one to watch' was cemented when he won the LVMH Grand Prix scholarship that same year.
Now that he has been taken under the wing of Lulu, Malone will show his S/S 16 collection at London Fashion Week in September.
His clothes are currently stocked in Brown Thomas as part of its CREATE initiative.
