Irish actress Sarah Greene has landed a coveted spot in the pages of Vogue magazines September Issue.

The young star, who received a Tony nomination for her recent role in the Broadway production of ‘The Cripple of Inishmaan’ will appear in the most important annual edition of the glossy fashion bible.

Entertainment Editor of US Vogue Jill Demling shared a sneak preview of the page which shows Greene modelling a chic neckerchief.

“The gorgeous and talented Sarah Greene,” she wrote beside the photo. The magazine have previously marked Greene out as a star “destined to become the next big thing in Hollywood”.

Greene has been earning her style stripes this year; she arrived at the star studded MET Gala Ball in New York in a Thakoon lilac number and jewellery by Wilfredo Rosado - one of Andy Warhol’s former protégés.

The actress, who is currently dating ‘The Hobbit’ actor Aidan Turner, will next appear in ‘Noble’ the biopic about charity campaigner Christina Noble.

"It was a very harrowing experience and a huge responsibility to play someone who has achieved so much," Greene said previously.

The movie was shot in Vietnam with comedienne Deirdre O'Kane playing the more mature Christina. She will also appear alongside Bradley Cooper in culinary comedy ‘Adam Jones’ which is due for release in 2015.

The Cork actress has previously appeared on stage at The Abbey Theatre in production ‘Alice in Funderland’.
