Girl on the rise: Model Clara McSweeney snapped up by international agency
She's only 18, but Clara McSweeney looks set to make waves in the international fashion industry after being snapped up by the model agency that represents Kate Moss.
The Cork teenager is already a well-established model on Irish shores, having been discovered at the age of 15, but she has now been picked up by IMG Models.
Clara, who has always said she wants to be a vet, will feature on the agency's books alongside some of the world's most successful beauties including Gisele Bundchen, Karlie Kloss and Heidi Klum.
Model-turned-agency head Andrea Roche, who represents Clara in Ireland, announced the news on Twitter.
The former Miss Ireland congratulated her modelling protege, taking to social media to say she was "so happy that @ClarMcS has just been signed by @IMGmodels".
