Amanda Byram is one of Ireland's best-known TV presenters.

Now she has set her sights on conquering the world of fitness fashion, as she gears up to weigh in with a whole new venture.

The Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) presenter and qualified personal trainer gave her fans the first glimpse of her new active-wear range this week. She will officially unveil her first collection, BodyByByram, in mid-November as she combines her passion for keeping fit with fashion.

The presenter (44) said the project has been a "two-year journey and it's almost here".

She said her range, which starts from around €72 for leggings, is designed to make women feel "strong, beautiful and empowered, both in and out of the gym".

Amanda, who will be back for series two of DWTS, flew to the US this week as she shot the publicity campaign for it - modelled naturally by herself.

The Castleknock native's new range will be stocked in selected stores around Ireland, including Arnotts department store - and in Selfridges in London. The teetotal star has also been busy with her online range of workouts, featured on the RTE Player, as she tries to help people get fit over the summer months. She said that nothing makes her feel better than working out, after years of crash dieting in a bid to control her weight when she worked as a model.

"I have always been interested in fitness," she said. "I like being strong. I also have my Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training so I am qualified to teach, which makes the videos more authentic."
