Fashion Friday: Red Carpet Wrap
Hits and misses in the style stakes
Hit: Bella Thorne
Well America's sweetheart certainly knows how to play to her strengths.
The Disney darling was happy to highlight her saccharine credentials while at the Winter's Tale premiere in New York this week. The hot pink Kate Spade dress was both stunning and age appropriate on the 16-year-old. The respectable length and structured top was topped off with a cute pink bow at the back, in case we had any doubts about her wholesome charm.
Let's just hope she doesn't end up rebelling against all this sweetness – one Miley Cyrus is quite enough, thank you very much.
MISS: Uma Thurman
I'm sure it's not easy being beautiful. All that attention and adoration must become tiresome (well, or so we'd like to think). And they don't come much more beautiful than Uma Thurman.
The statuesque actress's perfect skin, pouting lips and enviable figure – not to mention her acting talent – have served her well over the years. But it would appear she wants to play down all that natural beauty and success.
Out in Berlin for the Cinema for Peace Gala this week, the ever-thoughtful Ms Thurman tried to hide her model measurements in what seems to be some kind of sports top cum old man's pyjama top, paired with a skirt so big it would clothe the actress twice!
If this is all for our benefit Uma, really there's no need. We prefer to see you at your sartorial best, so please, next time, feel free to flaunt away
