Saoirse Ronan continues her tour de couture with four bold (and beautiful) outfits
Saoirse Ronan is earning her appellation as one of the world's best dressed actresses.
As she campaigns for an Oscar, we have been once again reminded of her fashion dexterity and her red carpet appearances are among the most exciting of her generation because she understands the importance of looking the part, while staying true to yourself.
Her string of award nominations and wins throughout her decade long career speaks for itself regarding her extraordinary talent and this, coupled with her continued red carpet success, is elevating her to movie stardom.
At 23, she's the youngest nominee in this year's Best Actress race, competing alongside Meryl Streep, Sally Hawkins, Frances McDormand and 27-year-old Margot Robbie, and is building up important relationships with fashion early in her career. Her stylist Elizabeth Saltzman is one of the most in-demand in the industry and their collaborations have led to an impressive evolution of Saoirse's personal style.
Saltzman told Vogue she wanted her to "figure out who she [was] as a woman and how to play a role with fashion. Before it was a mystery and now it’s enjoyable. When we met she didn’t like pink, she didn’t like sparkle, she wasn’t into dresses, and now of course that’s everything."
And the results of grown-up glamour was on display over the last three nights as she upheld her tour de couture in a hat-trick of enviable outfits.
On Monday night, she joined a host of fellow A-listers at the AARP’s 2018 Movies For Grownups Awards! in a pale blue dress by Narciso Rodriguez dress with cut-out detail around the midriff, paired with strappy black Charlotte Olympia heels and dramatic diamond drop earrings by Nikos Koulis.
Earlier in the day, she officially celebrated her Academy Award nomination with an exclusive luncheon at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, in a striking orange midi dress by Cushnie et Ochs dress, pink velvet Rupert Sanderson heels and cuff earrings by Ana Khouri.
On Sunday night, it was an incorporation of classic with an all-Chanel ensemble paired with a top knot, accessorised with a dramatic liquid chain courtesy of her hairstylist Adir Abergel for the Santa Barbara International Film Festival
And back to where it all began at the weekend: on Saturday, she attended the Director's Guild Awards in a plunging Calvin Klein dress, this time, wearing her hair in loose waves and a bold red lip. With one of the busiest calendars in Hollywood, her glam squad, including Adir and makeup artist Karayo Shimotobua are ensuring her she maintains that coveted chameleon status both onscreen and off.
