New season bikini style kicks off for top model Thalia Heffernan
Top model Thalia Heffernan is getting ready for swimwear season in style.
The Morgan the Agency model (19) is one the best known beauties in the country and showed off her catwalk credentials as she showed off New Look's Spring/Summer '15 collection in Dublin yesterday.
Retro style is clearly back with a bang as she modelled an array of outfits across the '50s, '60s and '70s, all featuring statement accessories and neutral colours.
It's even more impressive considering she didn't sleep a wink the night before as she had flown from job to job and headed straight to the press day from the airport.
Thalia, who is signed to four different agencies around the world, spent a stint in Australia last summer, said she prefers the Irish modelling market as she would be considered 'curvy' abroad, in spite of her super slim figure.

“Us Irish models get away with quite a lot over here,” she previously told the Herald. “There is more of a healthy size here that is definitely more realistic, which I personally believe in. I train a lot. I love my food. Both of my parents are unbelievable cooks, so I have always eaten anything I want and in unbelievable amounts as well.”
“My trainer is always on at me about Victoria’s Secret. She’s brilliant, she’s like ‘You’re going to do it!’,” Thalia says. “Obviously a lot of girls aspire to do it; It is a huge deal. I don’t know if I would physically be able to do it, I would probably pass out before I even went into the casting, but it would be an incredible experience to even cast for them.”
“Abroad I could be considered curvy whereas here I wouldn’t be,” she added. “It depends on the market, but definitely the Irish market is a little bit more lenient in terms of weight, which is great.”
