Ashley Graham and trans model Andrea Pejic hit the catwalk at H&M Studio's star-studded Paris Fashion Week show
H&M Studio launched its Autumn/Winter 2016 line at Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday with an all-star runway cast that transcended fashion conventions.
There was a message of diversity on the catwalk as the Swedish fashion giant launched its latest Studio collection under the domed ceiling of the historic Bourse de Commerce in Paris.
The company says the show was inspired by "strong women and the beauty of independent minds" and their casting covered all ages and sizes.
Alongisde supermodels Amber Valetta, Anja Rubik, Carmen Kass, Natasha Poly, Andrea Diaconu, Freja Beha Erichsen, Soo Jo Park, Jourdan Dunn, Lineisy Montero came Anna Cleveland and her mother, the original '70s super, Pat Cleveland.
The 65-year-old graced the runway in a caramel jacket and head scarf, bringing her iconic strut to the catwalk.
Trans models Andreja Pejic and Hari Nef also featured in the show, as well as 'plus' size model and Sports Illustrated covergirl Ashley Graham.
And the star-studded front row was graced by Suki Waterhouse, Emma Roberts, Kata Mara, Atlanda de Cadenet Taylor and Ciara among a host of fashion power players like Caroline de Maigret and Miroslava Duma.
The collection ticked off all the trend boxes but it still appeared fun and easy-to-wear. Think glamour mixed with Bohemian chic and Scandinavian folklore, with oversized coats, drapey printed dresses, floral embroidered wide-leg trousers, sheer fabrics, gaucho hats and fake snakeskin cowboy boots.
