Colour therapy... Helen Steele's latest athleisure collection
Helen Steele's latest athleisure collaboration with Dunnes Stores isn't just about physical activity, it's been designed to nurture your head and well-being too, writes our Fashion Editor
I wouldn't expect anything less of enterprising avant-garde artist Helen Steele. When it came to creating a floral print for 'All In', her third collection of affordable leisurewear for Dunnes Stores, she poured tins of paint on a wall and then turned a leaf blower on it.
The chaotic paint flows that ensued gave her a colourful, original print onto which she layered sketches of dandelions from her garden.

This artist layering was stage one in Helen's vision for easy-wear sports and leisurewear that you layer up for comfort, function and confidence.
The concept of being happy in the body you have is central to Helen's design philosophy and the range is available in sizes 8-22.
Helen remains faithful to her strong belief in colour therapy. Saturated hues feature in sweatshirts and as accents on leggings - she chose a teaberry pink for inner strength, an uplifting yellow for power and a Hawaii blue for confidence and communication.
The new range has a one-piece catsuit, longline tees, and - my favourite - the lightweight black trapeze jacket which has a hood and pockets, shower-proof fabric, and is longer at the back, making it ideal for cyclists.
