Animal prints are a stalwartly trend but why not take it a step further and go tribal. London designer Aguggini mixes mulshy, African-inspired prints with chunky cuffs and statement neckpieces.

Safari tailoring also featured in his show offering a crisp contrast to the more ethnic pieces, while cardboard hats fashioned by Stephen Jones gave a whimsical edge.

And what better canvas for a painterly print than a maxi dress? Whether it's a flowing floor-length gown in ethereal chiffon or a body-skimming tube in ultra soft jersey, full-length dresses are grounded in wearability.

Great as a trans-seasonal, wardrobe staple, don't be put off if you're not six foot two.

Petites can avoid looking swamped; work the look by eschewing billowing shapes and ensuring the length is not too long.
