Angelic style

Victoria's Secret Angels swapped lingerie for couture at a special night honouring their good friend and designer, Michael Kors.
Lily Aldridge, Doutzen Kroes and Chanel Iman, three of Victoria's Secret's best known models, covered up their famous figures at the Couture Council Fashion Visionary Awards at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York yesterday.
Aldridge, who is married to Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followise, wore a classic pink and cream two-piece by Michael Kors (who was being honoured at the event), Lorraine Schwartz jewels and a snakeskin belt.
Meanwhile, Doutzen Kroes similarly paid tribute to Kors in her sleeveless animal print dress and nude Celine heels.
Chanel Iman turned heads in one of the designer’s frocks too, showing off her enviable figure in a dark-pink cocktail dress and black strappy sandals.
The designer tweeted his excitement about being honoured by the Couture Council lunch, which was hosted by Academy Award winner Hilary Swank.
“Thrilled to be able to give back to the FIT community," he wrote.
"My advice: it’s all about talent, hard work & staying true to yourself. – xxMK.
“To win this award shows just how far the concept of sportswear has come.
"Even back when I arrived at FiT, I was captivated by the idea of sexy, luxurious and casual all at the same time. – xxMK #MKFIT”
American Vogue editor Anna Wintour also attended the lunch, as did veteran supermodel Iman, Martha Stewart and fashion guru Nina Garcia.
