Agyness Deyn to collaborate with Dr. Martens
Model turned actress Agyness Deyn is trying her hand at designing with a limited-edition collection for shoe brand Dr. Martens.
Agyness Deyn, the Lancashire top model recently turned actress, is now adding 'designer' to her CV, with a limited-edition collaborative collection for heritage shoe brand Dr. Martens on the way.
Featuring shoes, clothing and accessories, the line will be the result of a long relationship between the model and the brand, with 29-year-old Deyn rarely seen out of her trusty boots whilst she was carving out a name for herself in the modelling world and then having then starred in the brand's past two campaigns.
"The brand is a great fit for me, as it stands for strong character and being able to shape your own personal identity," Deyn told WWD .
Having spent a while in the fashion wilderness, the past year has seen Agyness stage a glorious comeback with editorials for British Vogue , a cover for UK Elle and campaigns for both Dr. Martens and Moncler, as well as nurturing a blossoming acting career, with an appearance in upcoming film Pusher , and a starring role in West End play The Leisure Society , which is currently running at London's Trafalgar Studios.
And now, with this new collection set to be under her belt, the former fish-and-chip shop worker can say she's well and truly back.
The full limited edition Agyness Deyn for Dr. Martens collaboration will be in stores globally in the autumn this year, so keep an eye out here for updates on the collection.
