Actress Saoirse Ronan strolled down the red carpet at Sundance film festival debuting new look, her usually long blonde hair styled in a chic bob.
Carlow-born Saoirse (20) posed for photographs at Sundance where she is promoting her latest film Stockholm, Pennsylvania.
The young star looked fresh-faced and relaxed as she posed for photos with the film’s writer and director Nikole Beckwith. She wore minimal makeup and was dressed in black trousers, a matching top and blazer.
The actress's new hairstyle loosely frames her face and comes as a change for Ronan, who has always had longer locks.
Ronan was at Sundance promoting two of her new movies that will feature in the festival.
Stockholm, Pennsylvania stars Ronan as a young woman returned home to her biological parents (Cynthia Nixon, David Warshofsky) after living with her abductor (Jason Isaacs) for 17 years. The film premiered on Friday at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival in Park City. The film was written and directed by Nikole Beckwith.
The movie has a history at the prestigious festival as the script was developed in the Sundance Screenwriting Lab and was voted on to the 2012 Black List and named a finalist for the Motion Picture Academy's 2012 Nicholl Fellowship.
Meanwhile, Irish film Brooklyn starring 20-year-old Ronan and fellow Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson (31) is also set to have its world premiere at Sundance. The film is the highly anticipated adaptation of Colm Toibin's novel of the same name.
