Nathan Carter soaks up summer sunshine at 'class' boat party in Fermanagh with brother Jake
Country music star Nathan Carter spent his day off enjoying the rare Irish sunshine taking a speed boat over Fermanagh's Lough Erne with pals earlier this week.
The Wagon Wheel singer is currently taking his 'Living the Dream' tour around Ireland but spent his rare day off on the water with his brother Jake and other friends.
In his column in the Sunday World, Nathan revealed that he had to take to the stage a little bit redder the following night as he got sunburned during the outing.
"Believe it or not, the sun was actually shining and I actually got sunburnt. You just never know what you are going to get in an Irish summer so I took full advantage of it. The boat was taken out and Jake and I had some fun on the water in Fermanagh," he said.
The idyllic day off in the sunshine was a far cry from the mess Nathan found himself in earlier this summer, when his tour bus became stuck in a wet GAA pitch after he performed at the Ballyroan 2017 Festival.
Nathan posted a video of some local tractor owners coming to his rescue by towing the tour truck back to dry land.
It seems some other festival goers may also have had difficulty with cars emerging from the mud as they commented, "We weren't the only ones stuck last nyt!!!"
Another quick-witted commenter quipped, "Someone's finally pulled Nathan Carter."
