While the nation pulls on our woolly socks ahead of Sunday’s snowy forecast, Rosanna Davison couldn’t be further away as she laps up the sun on a family holiday to Mauritius.

The model and her husband Wes jetted to the island for their annual trip, where the couple will celebrate the New Year with her mum Diane and dad Chris de Burgh.

Rosanna’s brothers Hubie and Michael also join the couple on the island, where the family is celebrating the New Year in the exclusive resort of Le Saint Geran.

The family have jetted to Mauritius each year since Rosanna was a young child.

The model and cookbook author (32) posed on the beach in her bikini in a photo shared with her Instagram followers today.

"I can't wait to put on my out-of-office and just relax. We're going over for about three weeks this year," she said, speaking earlier this month.

"We always find that once we're settled in we don't want to go home, so I'm really looking forward to it."

Rosanna joked that her husband often ditches her to hang out with her dad for hours on end while they're away on holiday.

"He's like my dad's third son at this stage," she said.

"They go off playing golf and don't come back for hours. They're like best friends."

While Rosanna and her tight-knit family will ring in the New Year in the gorgeous holiday destination, she'll be steering clear of making any definite resolutions for 2017 as she doesn't find them particularly effective.

"I'm not a big one for New Year resolutions because if it's in my head, I'll just do it today if I have to," she said.
