Keith Duffy and Lisa renewed wedding vows in intimate ceremony: ‘I appreciate her now more than ever’
It’s been almost 17 years since Keith Duffy wed his wife Lisa in Las Vegas, but the Boyzone star revealed that the pair tied the knot for a second time in an intimate ceremony held in an Irish castle.
The former Coronation Street star revealed that the couple renewed their wedding vows on their daughter Mia’s Communion Day, years after their Las Vegas ceremony.
“We did that a couple of years ago when my daughter Mia made her Communion,” Keith told The Ryan Tubridy Show on RTE Radio One.
“When she made her Communion, we went to a castle own the country and we just had all our family and friends there and we had a priest there and we renewed our vows. Nobody knew it was our business.”
The singer, who has recently set Boyzlife in collaboration with Brian McFadden, said his love for Lisa is stronger than ever.
“As you get older you start to appreciate things in life, the finer things.
“We’re getting on better now than we ever did. We have a great relationship and Lisa has always been very supportive of the work that I do.”
The pair have two children together Mia (16) and Jay (20) but Keith hasn’t ruled out the possibility of becoming a dad for the third time.
“There’s a part of me that would love to have more kids. I was so young becoming a daddy for the first time, it feels like only yesterday.”
